Product Details

Talinum limon, or Jewels of Opar, is a most unusual semi-succulent half hardy annual. The tall branching flower stems bear a myriad of tiny pink flowers, which only open in the afternoon. They are almost unimportant, as the joy of this plant is it's wonderful bobbly shiny red seed heads, on shiny red stems. They give a bouquet the most splendid shimmer. We haven't worked out how to dry them, yet! Growing well and flowering all summer inside and out, they do really thrive in a tunnel or greenhouse. They will seed about! Sow in late Spring.
