Black Shed Rudbeckia Mix
We haven't bought Rudbeckia seed for some time. We used to grow loads of varieties, like Sahara, Cherry Brandy and Chim Chiminee. Now we just use this mix, it gives us everything we need, from cherry reds, tawny orange doubles, soft ambers to golden chimney sweep's brushes. We've tended to save the seed from plants that we really like and have found to be useful, such as those with multiple clean stems and particularly delicious doubles. Treated as annuals, they're really short lived perennials and often survive over winter here in the softy South West, we always add seed from those plants to the mix
Sow in modules in late Spring
40/70 cm Full sun
At least 50 seeds
